When I buy a cake, taste is most important to me. A cake can look pretty, but if you cannot eat it, it is a total waste of my money. I once went to a wedding where the beautiful fondant covered cake was literally inedible. The fondant was so hard and tasted like eating chalk. I would not spend my money on that. I would rather have the cake taste great than have perfect looks.
ReplyDeleteI am a facebook fan too! :)
ReplyDeleteWhen I buy a cake I want it to both look good and taste great. Because lets face it,we all want our cake and to eat it too!!

ReplyDeleteBoth, it’s important how a cake looks and taste to me. I have had cakes that looked great and tasted awful, When it comes to cake it should taste as good as it looks.
ReplyDeleteFor me it is most important that a cake tastes good. I do also want it to look good. I have to agree with Tonya's post. We all want to have our cake and eat it too!
ReplyDeleteI can say I get to have both way. I make my cakes and decorate them the way I want them. I have also made them for other too. So to me the way they taste and the way they look is very important to me.
ReplyDeleteI am a new cake decorater and am taking the Wilton cake decorating classes in Champaign Il. I want my cakes to not only look good but taste good as well. It can look pretty but taste awful and it can look bad but taste good. I want my cakes to taste good AND look good.If you dont have both you are wasting time being a cake decorater. So both are very important to me, not just one but both.
